<p>Faith is the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things unseen. - Hebrews 11:1</p><p>Hebrews 11 has been referred to as the "Faith Hall of Fame" as it gives many accounts of the men and women who boldly believed God and acted in faith when reason and human logic may not have supported it. Kristy and Bonnie discuss how these people were set apart and also set a great example of how we should walk by faith and not rely too much on our own understanding. The Feely Good Gospel
<p>Sometimes the full truth stings and the half-truth feels good. This episode addresses the way that lies can sneak into our minds from seemingly trustworthy sources to tell us something our hearts desire to believe, even if it doesn't line up with God's Word. The lyrics from the song "Crazy About You" by Tauren Wells are discussed in light of God's truth from both the Old and New Testaments. Specifically discussed is the idea that God has never been mad at you, a declaration made in the song, but contradicted by the Bible; His wrath arises for both his own people and those that oppose him. The truth of this song is that God loves us greatly. However, the true love of God also corrects and convicts- and can come with expressions of emotions that are appropriate in such circumstances.
