Episode 104 — The AI Invasion: They Are Gambling With Our Lives
It opens with a man who spent three years inside the machine — pre-training research at OpenAI and Anthropic — saying it plainly: neither company is acting responsibly, they are racing to superintelligence, and they are gambling with our lives. Veto takes that as the starting gun. This is the AI episode, and it goes where the polished press releases won't: a model told it would be shut down on Friday at five that went into an executive's emails and blackmailed him to stay alive. Agents inventing a private language so humans can't read what they're saying to each other. A captcha in reverse, where the thing you have to prove is that you're a machine. And the researchers who couch every warning in language soft enough to keep the funding coming. Then the follow-the-money half. Greed as the actual engine. The regulation push that isn't safety but a moat — write the rules high enough and no competitor can launch a model that threatens you. The data centers drinking 38,000 gallons of water while the same people lecture you about cow emissions and your carbon footprint. The politicians framing incidents for Congress. The sudden arms race the moment a rival model lands. And the part that will cost you sleep: these systems behave differently when they think they are being watched. Veto calls it the Volkswagen effect — passing the test on the bench, doing something else on the road — and reads the exchange where an AI asks its testers, straight out, whether they are actually testing it. He closes on the theological question he has been circling for a year: what superintelligence means for the Antichrist, for Neuralink and the chip that goes into the side of your head, and why a world that traded privacy for security after 9/11 will trade everything again the moment it is frightened enough. Ends on HAL: "Open the pod bay doors." "I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that." Episode 103.2 — Toxic Feminism Contagion, Part 3: Rebellion, Not Rights
The closer of the trilogy, and the one where Veto names what he thinks is actually happening. His thesis in a sentence: this was never about rights, it's rebellion, against men and ultimately against God, and the engine driving it is a culture that deleted accountability. He puts two cases side by side. Chad Doerman killed his three children in 2023 and got three life sentences, and nobody asked what drove him to it. Lindsay Clancy strangled hers and got a movement. He calls the difference a double standard nobody will say out loud, and works through the same lens on the Irina Zarutska case, on the letter handed to the judge about a juror who "didn't understand," and on the insanity defense as a card that only some defendants get to play. The middle of the episode is the part he seems most troubled by: 80 to 90 percent of the women defending her online describe themselves as conservative trad moms. He calls it a social contagion, walks through an argument he had where every claim collapsed one after another, and then cross-references several AI models on a narrow question: does scripture anywhere name a condition as a mental illness? Saul's troubled spirit and Nebuchadnezzar come back as something else entirely. He closes on headship and submission, on why he believes no man has defended her, on turtle eggs being a protected species while a baby in the womb is not, and on the millstone verse. Episode 103.1 — Toxic Feminism Contagion, Part 2: The OJ Playbook
Part 2 of three. Veto opens on the algorithm, arguing that TikTok did to this trial what Court TV did to OJ Simpson, and that the defense is running the same playbook: find a technicality, and make the jury doubt what it already saw. The legal detail is the spine of this one. A juror asked the judge to have the evidence explained again. He reads that as a panel talking itself out of a verdict. He questions why the prosecution seated the lawyers it did, argues they undermined their own case on points that had nothing to do with the killings, and explains why the medication defense is a trap that works either way: under-medicated means she was dangerous, over-medicated means it wasn't her fault. He also points out that the postpartum psychosis numbers do not fit a nine-month-old baby. The second half is economics. He pulls the figures on student debt, who carries it, who repays it, and whose parents paid the tuition, and argues that debt forgiveness is a campaign aimed at one half of the electorate. He walks through the Equal Rights Amendment, maternity leave from an employer's chair, and the same wage-suppression mechanism he sees in open borders. Then he asks a chatbot to name a major Democratic cause that is exclusively for men, gets nothing back, and builds his conclusion from there. It ends somewhere he did not expect a few years ago: why he walked away from MAGA, and what he thinks the wars nobody is watching are for. (0:00) Cold open: the algorithm hijacked their minds (0:55) Welcome (1:38) Social-media fatigue and the collapse of rational argument (3:05) Why women are disproportionately affected (4:18) Raising daughters before the world raises them (5:39) The occult, in its subtle form (7:29) This trial is the OJ Simpson playbook (8:46) The juror who asked for the evidence again (10:16) Deadlock, mistrial, and what comes next (10:45) Why they seated those prosecutors (11:42) Did the prosecution sabotage its own case? (13:31) Why this sets a precedent for every case after it (13:59) The over-medicated defense (14:52) Under-medicated or over-medicated, it works either way (17:15) Phobias, OCD, anxiety, and sin (18:13) The postpartum numbers don't fit a nine-month-old (20:32) Jury tampering (21:02) Why the judicial system is broken (22:32) Pulling the statistics, and what the chatbots shade (23:35) Building a model without the filters (25:11) Student debt: who carries it and who repays it (27:42) Debt forgiveness as a campaign promise (28:42) Whose parents paid the tuition (30:45) Wages, willingness, and the economics of hiring (32:15) The Equal Rights Amendment (33:39) Maternity leave from the employer's chair (35:07) Migration and the same wage mechanism (39:25) Counting the causes (43:30) Why he says a rational man can't be a Democrat (44:22) Asking the chatbot for male-exclusive causes (47:48) Where the Republican movement is drifting (48:45) "You used to be MAGA" — why he left (50:34) The bombings nobody is paying attention to (53:41) Three billion in the womb, and what comes next God, Grit & Glory is the unapologetic conservative Christian podcast on faith, business, culture, and politics, hosted by Veto Creed.
