Podcast Overview

This study examines the difficult issue of suffering from a Christian perspective by taking a look at biblical characters and how God, throughout history, has used their particular trials to advance His mission and purposes in the world. Throughout the fourteen weeks we will learn what a biblical theology suffering is, how our faith matures in times of trials, and how we can help others in their trials. The goal of this study is each participant’s faith would be better prepared to grow when the next trial arises. They will also be taught how to answer and share his or her faith when skeptics ask, “If God is good then how can He allow suffering?” God’s message of salvation, the death and resurrection of Jesus, includes suffering. For anyone who wants to be a disciple they must understand the model is suffering precedes glory. This study will attempt to help us be faithful in following Christ’s example those times of trials.
