En el quinto y último episodio de la serie 'Euskadi 97' que hemos incluido en el podcast Gogoan repasamos los acontecimientos posteriores al asesinato de Miguel Angel Blanco que sacudió a la sociedad vasca y española. El espíritu de Ermua se transformó en un arma arrojadiza al servicio de los partidos. El PNV y el PP se enzarzaron en acusaciones de equidistancia ante ETA y de utilización política del crimen. El Pacto de Ajuria Enea saltó por los aires y dio paso al acuerdo entre nacionalistas en Lizarra. ETA reanudó los atentados tras una fallida tregua y el gobierno de Aznar respondió con el pacto antiterrorista.

Euskadi 97: (IV) Asesinato de Miguel Ángel Blanco
El cuarto episodio de esta serie de podcast realizados al hilo del veinticinco aniversario del secuestro de Miguel Ángel Blanco recoge la indignación popular tras el asesinato del concejal del PP. Comienza con el funeral y la homilía, oficiada por el obispo Ricardo Blázquez, y muestra el enfado de grupos de incontrolados que atacaron Herriko tabernas y sedes de HB (Herri Batasuna); al tiempo que la gente mostraba cariño hacia la Ertzaintza, animando a muchos agentes a que se retiraran el "verduguillo" con el que protegían su identidad. Las disensiones entre los partidos fueron en aumento, especialmente entre el PNV y el PP. Mientras, la madre de Blanco pedía que no se borrara su memoria. Dani Álvarez dirige el resumen.

El tercer capitulo del Podcast Gogoan, que hemos dedicado al los sucesos que ocurrieron en las horas previas y posteriores al asesinato de Miguel Ángel Blanco Garrido. Rememorando la vigilia del pueblo de Ermua, la histórica manifestación de Bilbao en la que la hermana del concejal, Marimar, pidió a ETA y al gobierno "buena voluntad y flexibilidad", y en el que se escuchan también testimonios exclusivos como el de la ex consejera del gobierno vasco, Mari Karmen Garmendia, el histórico de HB, Patxi Zabaleta, la prima del concejal, Nerea Garrido o el médico que le atendió, Patxi García Urra.
