父が余命宣告されあっという間に半年がたった。末期の胃癌だ。みるみる痩せ細り、食べたいものを食べられなくなった。 彼の身体は、抗がん剤も受けつけず手術もできない。だか今まで通り、船に乗って魚を釣り、畑でニンニクを育てる。釣った魚は誰かに食べさせるためだし、ニンニクは自分が食べられるかもわからない。 時を伝えられてから父はより食に貪欲になった。話を聞くと彼にとって、つくり、食べ、その文化をつなぐということは「命を燃やす」ことそのものらしい。 働き、つくり、食べる。 食べるを真ん中に、彼は自らの手でつくることで、今この瞬間も過去と未来を感じながら生きている。 重くない感じで話してるので気軽に聴いてもらえたら。また話を端的にするために時系列や事実関係が曖昧な部分がありますが悪しからず。 真鍋和豊（昭和24年10月9日生 72歳 父）／愛媛県新浜市生まれ／自動車板金塗装業 自営／プロテスタント教徒（日本アライアンス教団 新居浜教会 所属） 【謝辞 姉へ】 すぐに仕事を長期で休み、父となるべく時間をすごしている姉に敬意を表し、感謝をここで伝えたい。みんなが明るく、楽しくすごせているのは、あなたのおかげです。ありがとう。
