Ep5 - The Tiger Update with Dr. Mike Mesisca
On this pop-up episode, I am joined by my good friend, and Department Chair of Emergency Medicine at Riverside University Health System, Dr. Mike Mesisca, DO, to discuss updates and info on the Tiger Woods car accident. Dr. Mesisca has about 20 years of experience in Emergency Medicine, and deals firsthand with emergency trauma victims, such as motor vehicle accidents, at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Southern California. We talk about how front line workers handle these trauma cases, Tiger’s injuries/surgeries that we know of to date, and outlook/considerations moving forward for Tiger’s care. I want to thank Dr. Mesisca for sharing his time and expertise with us today. Hopefully you learn a lot from this episode in regards to insight into what has been going on with Tiger’s medical care to this point. ***Dr. Mesisca has no knowledge greater than what has been released by Tiger’s team to this point and it was made clear that no speculation would be given to other injuries he may have.
