Ep. 14: It's Literally Called, "Science Center Station"

Coming back after a whole year and some change (literally)! But I'm so happy to be back. Not gonna lie this podcast was recorded back in May and we are now close to waving goodbye to July which literally shows how time is flying. I got to bring back a guest from one of the previous podcast episodes, Nasra Mohamed, to dissect such an important topic that pretty much took over the first half of the mayoral race and that is the Ontario Science Center. A treasured place by many in the community including myself. Tune in to hear our thoughts on the Ford Governments push to move the Ontario Science Center to Ontario Place and what this move means for residents in Flemingdon and Thorncliffe Park!

Ep. 13: Representation Matters: Finding Your Path Through Social Work and Entrepreneurship

This time it's been a while; not sure if it's too late to say Happy New Year (maybe...no). But I'm back, but this time I come barring gifts in the form of another incredible guest Chelsea!! She takes us through her journey to complete a bachelor's and Masters's in social work, working on her passion projects, that 9-5, and her self-care practices. She dropped too many gems for me to summarize it in a small paragraph, so you got to listen to the full episode. Enjoy!

Ep. 12 - The Black Experience: Moving Through Academia

It's been awhile since a podcast episode has been dropped, but excited to share this one with you all. Nasra Mohamed joins me as part of a really important assignment that contributes to a much larger discussion. Moving through academia while Black, specifically as graduate students. We hope that you listen to this episode and catch a glimpse of what it has been like for us these past few months in our program and understand ways we can make an impactful change within the field of academia.
