Ep51: When Jesus said, "But I say unto you...," He did not fix the law
Jesus made the statement, "but I say unto you," several times during the Sermon on the Mount. In this episode, Pastor Darius, continues teaching from his book The Sermon on the Mount. The common teaching is that Jesus was either fixing the law of Moses or highlighting God's true intent of the law. Pastor Darius explains why both of these conclusions are inaccurate and that Jesus was emphasizing lesser laws already found in the law of Moses.

Ep49: The Sermon on the Mount - "salt and light of the world"
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus referred to the Jewish people as the "salt and light" of the world. What did these powerful images mean to the Jewish audience that first heard them?
In this episode, Pastor Darius examines the layered meaning of salt in Jewish thought and tradition, uncovering insights that are often overlooked in modern Christian interpretations. By exploring the Sermon on the Mount through its original Jewish context, he reveals the significance of Jesus' words and the purpose behind the calling to be "salt and light"—to live in a way that brings glory to God.
