Pastor Nick Decker | Matthew 5:8
In today’s episode, Pastor Nick Decker explores Matthew 5:8: “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” Addressing the danger of hypocrisy and divided devotion, he challenges listeners to examine whether their private lives match their public faith. Through vivid illustrations and biblical teaching, Pastor Nick explains that purity of heart involves both sincerity—being genuine before God and others—and single-mindedness—giving Jesus first place above every competing desire. This message offers the hope of seeing God’s work more clearly now and, one day, seeing Him face-to-face, while inviting us to surrender every hidden sin and competing loyalty to wholehearted devotion to Christ.

Mercy Received. Mercy Returned.
Pastor Nick Decker | Matthew 5:7
In today’s episode, Pastor Nick Decker explores Matthew 5:7: “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.” He explains that mercy is compassion in action—reflecting the gift of mercy we have received from God by showing compassion to those who are hurting and forgiveness to those who have wronged us. Through biblical teaching and powerful stories, Pastor Nick reminds us that we do not show mercy to earn salvation; we show mercy because we have been saved. This message challenges us to remember how deeply Christ has forgiven us and to become people who freely forgive, compassionately serve, and help pick others up.

A Holy Hunger
Pastor Nick Decker | Matthew 5:6
In today’s episode, Pastor Nick Decker explores Matthew 5:6 and Jesus’ declaration, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.” Using relatable stories and thoughtful biblical insight, Pastor Nick challenges us to examine what truly shapes our desires and whether we hunger for holiness as passionately as we pursue the things of this world. He explains the importance of developing a spiritual appetite for God’s Word, righteousness, and Christlikeness, while warning against allowing busyness and lesser pursuits to crowd out what matters most. This message reminds us that those who seek righteousness will be satisfied by God—both now as He transforms their lives and ultimately when Christ establishes His kingdom.
