• When God remembers someone in the bible, it is most often followed by an action. See accounts of Rachel, Hannah, Noah, Abraham, Israel, and many more. • We see through history in the bible how when we forget God and what He has done for us, we allow our sinful nature to have its way and then we live in the consequence of this. Israel forgot God time and time and time again... • When we remember God, it should be followed by action: obedient, loving devotion to Him in our lives.• Communion is a beautiful way to remember what God has done for us through Jesus Christ. • How many times has God come through for you in your life? Before we jump to complaining, remember all God has already done for you in your individual life.

Helmet of salvation • We have salvation through believing in Jesus Christ who died and rose again for us• BUT, we also have to guard our minds by “putting on our helmets”, which means we have to ongoingly take thoughts captive and make them obedient to Christ
Shoes of the gospel of peace• If you lose your footing in battle, you are in deep danger. The enemy wants to do this any chance he can get.• Satan wants to take your peace. Jesus is our peace (Eph 2:14). We cannot give or take peace to others if we don’t have it ourselves.
Sword of the Spirit• Our one and only offensive weapon• This is how Jesus fought in his time of trial, this is how we must fight as well• The Word of God will ALWAYS accomplish that which it sets out to do (Isa 55:10-11)• Afterall, God did create the universe by the Words of His mouth!
