Ready for Reality!
How much life can you handle without losing who you are — without losing your cool, your bearings, your mind?
That may be one of the best tests of true Christian maturity. Because there are a lot of Christians who know the Word, go to church, and can quote the verses — but when real life hits, they don't always do very well. They can talk about grace but aren't very gracious. They can talk about faith but uncertainty paralyzes them.
The goal of Christianity was never just to produce people who know the truth. It's to produce people who can live the truth — in reality, on a Tuesday morning, under pressure.
This week, guest speaker Dr. Dave White walks us through how God forms that kind of man: the Father gives him Gravity — weight, depth, and a rootedness that isn't tossed by every cultural wind. The Spirit gives him Grit — the fortitude to remain faithful under pressure without fragmenting. And the Son shows him Range — the capacity to hold grace and truth together, to comfort and confront, to bond and set boundaries.
Gravity. Grit. Range. That's what it looks like to be formed not merely for church, but for reality.

Come Alive
You can be close to the things of God and still feel far from God. Close to the things of marriage and still feel far from your marriage.
Most of us know when something isn't working — when anger is controlling us, anxiety is running the show, or our private life and public life no longer match. So we try to change our behavior. We download an app. Start a plan. Make a rule. And for about four days, it works. Then the old patterns return.
Why? Because we keep trying to fix the fruit without changing the root.
We don't merely need improved habits. We need a new source of life. Romans 8 describes two ways of living — according to the flesh, and according to the Spirit — and the question isn't "did you come to church?" The question is: what are you living from?
The Spirit gives you a new way to think, a new power to live, and a new family to belong to. Before the world tells you who to be, let the Father remind you whose you are.
