We spend so much of our lives becoming versions of ourselves we’ve never been before: daughter, mother, wife, grandmother, friend, and all the versions in between. And somehow, we expect ourselves to know exactly what we’re doing, even when we’ve never lived this part before.
In this episode of Grace in the In-Between, I’m reflecting on the women we’ve been, the women who raised us, and the women we are still becoming. We’ll talk about giving our younger selves a little more tenderness, seeing our mothers as women who were becoming too, and the beautiful truth I’ve been learning in Ephesians: grace comes first.
Our lives change. Our roles change. We change. But our identity in Christ does not.
Maybe you don’t need to have this version of yourself completely figured out yet. Maybe she needs a little grace while she learns. 🤍

While We Wait, We Live | Grace in the In-Between
What if the life we’re waiting for isn’t the only life that matters?
I caught myself wishing the next two years would hurry up, until an unexpected encounter with a childhood friend made me realise just how much life happens between one version of ourselves and the next.
In this episode, I’m reflecting on the plans we make, the futures we pray for, and the temptation to treat the space between here and there as something to simply get through.
We talk about becoming, trusting God when the future still scares us, and what surrender can look like when your hand is still trembling.
Because worry can’t give us certainty. And faith doesn’t mean we always know how things will turn out.
Sometimes it simply means choosing to walk into the unknown with God.
A question to carry with you this week: What am I in danger of wishing away while I wait?
While we wait, we live. We pray. We trust. We surrender, even scared. And we keep growing.

When You Fall Off Track: Grace to Start Again | When the Way Becomes the Wall
We start with such good intentions. The new routine. The exercise plan. The Bible study. The fast. The promise that this time, I’m really going to stick to it.
And then… we stop.
But sometimes the hardest part isn’t stopping. It’s how quickly we begin speaking harshly to ourselves because we did.
In this episode of Grace in the In-Between, we’re talking about the plans we didn’t finish, the rhythms we lost, and the grace to try again without turning an unfinished goal into a verdict on who we are.
Because if you planned 30 days and made it to 13, those 13 days still mattered. You learned. You grew. You showed up.
Stopping doesn’t erase what came before it.
Maybe you don’t need another perfect Monday, another new plan, or another promise to do better.
Maybe you just need a little grace to try again. 🤍
