Our offerings are an act of worship. The offering during the worship service provides believers the opportunity to respond in gratitude to the grace, love, and mercy of God and to put their faith and trust in the Lord into action. The offering to God each Sunday is an act of worship just like confessing the Creed, singing the hymns, hearing the sermon, and engaging in prayer. The following Bible verses will provide encouragement for your members to give and will help them grow in their understanding of biblical stewardship. It is suggested that you intersperse Old Testament and New Testament verses throughout the year. The following list provides a large number of giving verses, but it is not an exhaustive list. Hopefully, you will over time add more verses to this list. 1 Timothy 6:17-18 – “As for the rich in this present age, charge them no to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold that which is truly life.”

Favor that surrounds you - Bishop Art Abuan
How would your life look if you were surrounded, all day and every day, by God’s favor? How different would things be if doors opened for you, and you walked through each one covered with God’s favor? Would your actions and attitudes in every situation be any different if you knew beyond any doubt that success lies ahead, because you are one of God’s favorites? Would you find the courage to lay down your anxieties and fears? Of course, you would! The truth is God’s favor will change your life! In this article, I’m going to give you four points to help you access God’s favor each and every day. Are you ready? Let’s get started! Simply put, grace is favor. God’s favor is the power that changes things for us. First and foremost, you and I are saved by His favor, and I’m not just talking about going to heaven when we die. To be saved means to be delivered, protected, preserved, healed and made whole. God’s favor covers every area of our lives! By His favor, He has taken care of everything we will ever need—spirit, soul and body. His supernatural grace is so vast, the Bible says it is going to take all the ages to come for Him to show us all the riches of His grace in the kindness He’s given us in Christ Jesus (see Ephesians 2:7).

The Power of Communion - Rev Judel A. Guiraldo
The Holy Communion, known also as the Lord’s Supper, represents the greatest expression of God’s love for His people. Two items are used in the Holy Communion—the bread which represents Jesus’ body that was scourged and broken before and during His crucifixion, and the cup which represents His shed blood. When Jesus walked on earth, He was vibrant, and His body was full of life and health. He was never sick. But before Jesus went to the cross, He was badly scourged by the Roman soldiers, and His body was torn as He hung on the cross. At the cross, God also took all our sicknesses and diseases and put them on Jesus’ originally perfect and healthy body, so that we can walk in divine health. That is why the Bible says by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24). In Luke 22:20, Jesus tells us that the cup is the “new covenant in My blood”, and the apostle Paul tells us that the blood of Jesus brings forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:14, Ephesians 1:7).
