#63 - David Ferrugio (Dead Talks)
David Ferrugio is the host and creator of Dead Talks, a podcast exploring death, grief, mortality, and the experiences that shape how we understand the end of life. Through deeply personal and candid conversations with guests from all walks of life, Ferrugio has built a platform that challenges the stigma and discomfort surrounding death while encouraging people to have more meaningful conversations about loss and mortality.
His work on Dead Talks has made him a compelling voice in the growing movement toward open, honest discussions about death and dying, using storytelling, humor, and vulnerability to explore subjects that are often left unspoken. Ferrugio is also an advocate for living more intentionally, helping audiences confront mortality not with fear, but as a reminder to appreciate life, connection, and the people around us.
Ferrugio’s father was killed in the September 11 attacks, and as September 11 marks the anniversary of his death, his personal experience with loss brings an especially powerful perspective to these conversations.
