Every life is a gift from God!
📖 “Do not murder!” — Exodus 20:13
This commandment goes far beyond the physical act of taking a life. It challenges us to examine our hearts, our attitudes, and what we allow to influence our homes.
We were reminded that:- Bitterness, hatred, and jealousy have no place in a healthy home.- We must guard our families against becoming desensitized to violence.- Every life has value, purpose, and meaning in God's eyes.- Even in our darkest moments, there is ALWAYS hope in Jesus!
God is the author of life, and every person matters to Him!
Healthy homes don't happen by accident. They're built through intentional, godly habits that honor Him.

The Revelation of Jesus
When you truly get a revelation of who Jesus is, it changes EVERYTHING!
Yesterday at Grace Tabernacle, we were reminded that there's a difference between knowing ABOUT Jesus and truly KNOWING Him!
- A revelation of Jesus changes our perspective.
- It transforms our purpose.
- It gives us strength to endure.
- It reminds us that NOTHING can separate us from His love!
Paul understood this revelation. Despite the trials ahead, he refused to be moved because his purpose was greater than his circumstances! (Acts 20:22–24)
The greatest revelation isn't just discovering who Jesus is — it's allowing that revelation to change who WE are!
Whatever you're facing, remember: The same Jesus who called you is the One who will sustain you!

Habits for Healthy Homes Part 5: Honoring Your Father and Mother
Habits for Healthy Homes | Part 5
Healthy homes begin with a heart of honor! Tonight, we explored the fifth commandment: “Honor your father and your mother.” —Exodus 20:12
The home is where we first learn respect, values, and how to treat others. Honoring our parents takes different forms throughout life:
- As children, we honor through obedience and respect.
- As we grow, we honor through appreciation, listening, and gratitude.-As adults, we honor by staying connected, offering encouragement, and caring for their needs.
Parents also have a responsibility to lead with love, discipline with care, and help their children know the Lord.
No family is perfect, and some family stories carry deep hurt. God sees that pain and can bring healing—even when a relationship remains difficult. Through Him, we also find a church family that loves and supports us.
This week, look for one meaningful way to show honor. A phone call, a thank-you, or time spent together can make a difference.
