We are just two siblings trying to make lives better one conversation at a time. G’s & V’s is a podcast that touches on struggles that black youth face in this modern age. We try to make people feel like they belong in a world that tells them, they are not good enough. We speak about concepts that we are still growing to learn and value with hopes that someone out there can take something out of it. Our conversations are real but we always find some humour to heal the wound. In listening to the podcast, we hope to make one become okay.
Family, it is a love hate relationship. We often down play the influence the relationship we have with our family has on our mental well-being and our overall livelihood. In this episode we discuss the importance of family and why establishing a relationship with our family is of utmost importance.
Absolutely enjoyed the conversation had in this episode, definitely a must listen.
If you are reading this, its a sign to call a Family member you haven't spoke to in a while, trust me they will appreciate the gesture😊

They Are Human.
(Exactly a year ago, G's & V's aired its first episode, and what a year it has been. THANK YOU for your relentless support and continuous feedback, which helps the podcast reach more people and help those who need to hear the conversations had here❤️.)
We are born from someone and live amongst people. "People" are an integral part of our lives and learning how to coexist with fellow human beings is an essential skill, in order to enhance your experience here on planet earth.
Believe it or not, we are a very selfish species and this is very evident in the way we conduct ourselves in relationships with other people. We get so fixated in making the relationship ideal for us so much so we never stop to think if the relationship is ideal for the other person too. We always clearly see when people in our lives disappoint us, but yet we don't seem to have that same clarity in seeing when we disappoint the people around us. We often don't even question how our conduct might affect the people around us.
Your friends need you to be good to them, just as much as you need them to be good to you.
Your family needs you to be good to them, just as much as you need them be good to you.
PEOPLE, need you to be good to them, just as much as you need them to be good to you.
In this episode, we try establish principles and practical things you can do to coexist and better your relationship with people.
TRUST ME, THIS IS A MUST LISTEN TO EPISODE.

For Men In Unhappy Relationships
Something often not spoken about, and a question a lot of men don’t ask themselves: “what do I really want and expect from my partner.”Even when we do ask ourselves this question most of us don’t communicate with our partners what we expect from them and how we want to be treated. Therefore it’s not surprising that majority of men in relationships are unhappy.
It is unpopular opinion but most men have very little to benefit from relationships as they are always on the giving end and barely ever on the receiving end. There are also unsaid "Rules" that govern relationships, which you should accept and live with. You can't fight against these rules as it is a losing battle.
Understanding these "Rules" can make or break you, luckily for you joined by Sinqobile, Lawrence, Sanele and Robb we discuss some of these in this episode.
So …
If you are a female and foresee yourself in a relationship or you want to understand men better, it is in you best interest to LISTEN TO THIS EPISODE!!😄😄
IF YOU ARE MALE AND YOU ARE BREATHING, YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO THIS EPISODE!!😄😄
