flight 28: animal-maxxing by making volunteering in africa a reality (a GWIA declassified travel survival guide)
season 3 episode 9: a GWIA declassified travel survival guide
baboons, black rhinos, and the trip that changed everything — koke is the one in the hot seat now and louise has the questions! in this interview special, koke takes you behind the scenes of her month-long wildlife conservation volunteer trip across South Africa and Namibia. from feeding and rehabilitating animals, to anti-poaching research, to restoring habitats… koke did it ALL. and yes, she may have also fallen completely in love with baboons along the way (we don't judge here… but sorry joe?)
but this episode isn't just the highlights reel — koke breaks down everything you need to know before booking your own volunteer trip abroad: the different programs available, the agencies she recommends, health and safety must-knows, and the breathtaking Garden Route road trip she did along the south coast of South Africa to cap it all off.
consider this your official guide to volunteering in Africa — with a little GWIA chaos sprinkled in, because of course.
