このポッドキャストでは、帰国子女・ハーフの子供そしてグローバルパーソンを育てるのに、これはいいぞ、こういうのは絶対やばいとかを、自分の過去アメリカ🇺🇸からの帰国子女として育った経験、そして今欧州🇸🇪🇩🇪でハーフの子供二人を育てている経験を交えながらディスカッションベースでお話しできたらと思います。 I started a podcast to discuss how to raise a global person out of our kids. This should first and foremost start with learning your own home language and culture, particularly when living away from home. I moved around in my childhood and into my work life every 2-4 years; and currently raise 2 half kids in Europe while working. 以前なみさんには、中学生の体験入学についてうかがいましたが、今回はNYで勉強・スポーツ・課外活動に全力疾走する高校生の子供の生活について教えてもらいました。聞いてるだけで大変だけど、結構現実なのです。日本の受験勉強のが楽？！に思えてしまうかも。貴重な、中からのお話しでした。

インタビュー後半は、もう少しちささんが営むハピネスコーチについて。住む環境を変えてグローバルな子供を育てることにより、子供にどこに行ってもやっていけるよ、と言う気持ちにしてあげたいわけなのですが。これは子供も親も選択肢が色々あることなんでしょうね。ハピネスコーチのちささんの、人生の選択肢を増やすお手伝いをするという考え方と似ている気がしました。

なんと高校時代の同級生でフェロー帰国子女のあいば(つがわ)ちささんと、超〜久しぶりにつながって、早速インタビューしちゃいました。今家族でアメリカ在住で、本人ももともとイギリスからの帰国なのですが、私よりもずっと日本中心の人生&生活なんだそう。なのでグローバルな子供を育てるという意味では、まさに日本にいる日本人ファミリーの視点の話しが聞けました。
