Rather, giving ourselves some mindful moments to simply pause and be grateful for what we already have, like resting in the still eye of a hurricane, makes all the difference in how we feel and respond throughout our day-to-day lives - and focusing our actions on those things that we truly have some control over can enable us to ride out the difficult waves until they pass.
