In this episode, we interview Richard Eu, entrepreneur and fourth generation leader of the Eu Yan Sang International Group. Richard Eu is Group Chairman of Eu Yan Sang International Ltd (EYSI), an appointment he has held since 1st October 2017. He is the fourth generation of a business that was founded in 1879.As the steward of the Eu Yan Sang International Group, Richard leads the board in providing governance oversight, deliberating the Group’s strategic choices and providing independent counsel and advice to the Group CEO. Prior to this, Richard served as the Group CEO of Eu Yan Sang International from 2002 until becoming Group Chairman. Richard has been instrumental in transforming Eu Yan Sang International into one of Asia’s largest Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) groups today. Under his leadership since 1989, the Group has successfully established itself in the broader market of natural wellness and has introduced TCM to new consumers with products and services to meet the needs of a modern lifestyle.Prior to joining Eu Yan Sang, Richard, who holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of London, UK, worked in merchant banking, investment management, stock broking, computer distribution, and venture capital.Apart from sitting on the boards of private sector companies, Richard actively participates in community projects and non-profit organisations. Richard was conferred the Public Service Medal (PBM) at the Singapore National Day Awards 2020.</p>

In this episode, we interview thought leader and gut health entrepreneur, Dr. Jeremy Lim. </p><p>Dr. Jeremy Lim is the CEO and Co-Founder of AMILI, a microbiome insights company based in Singapore serving the region. Beyond this, he also undertakes academic and practice-focused work in health financing. In his previous roles, Jeremy has spent substantial time in public and private healthcare across Asia as well as in policy advisory with Singapore and other regional governments, the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank and the World Health Organization. He was founding partner in NYSE-listed Oliver Wyman’s Asia healthcare consulting practice.</p><p>Other than AMILI, he also serves as adjunct faculty in the National University of Singapore and Monash University Malaysia. Outside academia, Jeremy serves on the boards of various for-profit and not-for-profit organizations in different aspects of healthcare including hospitals, migrant worker health, healthy longevity and digital health interventions. He maintains an active interest in health advisory, supporting former clients, focusing mainly on healthcare acquisitions and health insurance. He trained in surgery and public health, attaining post-graduate qualifications in both the UK and USA.</p><p><br /></p>
