In 1986, Kermit George was about as far from God as a man can get, and he wasn't interested in hearing otherwise. Then one hot July morning, a swim at Open Pond in Alabama turned into the fight of his life. Sitting beside that same pond, Kermit walks us through what he calls God's "plan B" and the grace that met him on the bank. It's one of the most incredible God stories we've ever heard, and one you won't forget anytime soon.

The Call
The guys also catch up on bow season, alligator season, Deer Camp '26 in Alabama, and Bubba's new rifle. Evangelist and lifelong turkey hunter Stetson Stafford shares his testimony: growing up in church but chasing everything but Jesus, the year God wouldn't let him go, and the Sunday morning at 20 years old when he broke down mid-song and went to the altar, where he said to God, "I don't know what you're asking of me. All I know is I'm here and I'm ready." "God can take anybody and use them ...

Joining The Journey
Evangelist Stetson Stafford joins the guys to talk spring turkey hunting in North Florida and South Carolina, and why the hunts he loses have become his favorites. The heart of the episode is the step he took last August. After nine years of preaching while working a full-time job, he went into full-time evangelism. He shares the conversation with his wife he'd been dreading, the answer she gave him, and what his first year of full-time evangelism has looked like with a young family and a new...

Band of Brothers Part 2
Pastor Shaun, Bubba, and John are joined by guest Kent to finish looking back on Deer Camp 25. A prayer prayed alone in a deer stand, the biggest buck of John's life, and a text message that broke him down at the bottom of that ladder. But the real story is what happened after dark — nightly Bible study on biblical manhood and prayer time around the coffee table, where burdens got laid out and God showed up. They talk about bearing one another's burdens, why your circle matters, prayers alrea...

Band of Brothers
Pastor Shaun, Bubba, and John sit down with guests Ken and Matt to look back on Deer Camp 25. The struggles that nearly broke them, five words that gave Matt a compass for life, and a health scare for Ken that reminded everyone whose hands they're really in. What started as a hunting trip became something none of them could've planned for: hearts changed, burdens lifted, and a brotherhood that's still holding strong. They talk unity, why men need each other, and give a first look at Deer Camp...

Only God Can Give It
Pastor Shaun, Bubba, and John sit down at Huckleberry Hill in West Tennessee with Mr. Phil Williams — 80 years old, longest-serving mayor in Tennessee history, and a man whose 200 acres of family land became holy ground for GX3's 2025 Deer Camp retreat. Phil shares 70 years of God's faithfulness: salvation at ten, a furniture store empire, losing his first wife, a late-in-life love story straight from God, and a poem his late father wrote about that same valley. A tender, funny, faith-soaked ...
