Auch der Berliner Strafvollzug ist vom Arbeitskräftemangel betroffen. Besondere Umstände erfordern besondere Maßnahmen. Zwei engagierte Mitarbeiterinnen aus dem Strafvollzug erzählen über einen besonderen Weg für die Arbeit im Strafvollzug zu werben. Am 04.05.2024 findet eine außergewöhnliche Berufsmesse auf dem Gelände der Jugendstrafanstalt Berlin statt. Dringende Empfehlung der Podcast-Teilnehmer an alle zwischen 18 und 40 Jahren, die sich beruflich neu orientieren wollen, diesen Termin auf keinen Fall zu versäumen. Diesmal durften wir mit der ehemaligen Senatorin für Justiz, Vielfalt und Antidiskriminierung sowie Politikerin (Die Linke) Frau Prof. Dr. Lena Kreck ein interessantes und längeres Gespräch führen. Offen gibt Sie Einblick über ihr Leben als Senatorin. Das Thema "Strafvollzug" steht auch in dieser Folge im Mittelpunkt. Wie ist es, wenn man zur Senatorin ernannt wird und plötzlich für viele, viele Mitarbeiter, aber auch für 3500 Gefangene verantwortlich ist? Welche Ziele wurden in Bezug auf den Strafvollzug verfolgt? Diese und ähnliche Fragen werden in dieser Folge beantwortet, aber auch Ihre Teilnahme an einem 10 000-Meter-Lauf in der JVA Plötzensee und die dabei persönlichen Highlights spielen eine Rolle.
