[…] They'd be like amazing bonuses and and incredible opportunities if they came around. But I don't have a goal. If I never get one, I will not feel disappointed at all. I've found over the years in talking to collectors and also experiencing this myself, that when you give yourself the latitude to experience more of what watches offers, then you're going to be happier and the hobby is more fulfilling. I think if you were to take a survey of 100 collectors, the number who have just taken more joy in the hobby by letting themselves be surprised and allowing their tastes to shift or at least experience watches that maybe weren't obvious to them would be really, really high.
