EP12: Eyes of Eleren: A D&D 5e Campaign
Eyes of Eleren - HallowedRPG D&D Campaign - Episode 12: The Road to Themon Fresh off their perilous journey into the freezing depths of the Demiplane of Frost, the Kingsmen barely have time to catch their breath before new mysteries demand their attention. Delivering their hard-won findings unravels strange truths hidden in plain sight, connecting the dark rings worn on their fingers to an ancient legacy of elven royalty and hinting at dormant powers awaiting the spark of an Etherforge. Before the group can fully process these mounting revelations, a request for a royal favor from Lady Alana and Duke Durian thrusts them directly back into the field. Tasked with acting as bodyguards for the young and unpredictable Prince Killian, the party agrees to escort him to the legendary city of Themon, where the prince insists on retrieving a prized musical instrument left behind in safer times. The journey south leads the party across the iconic Obsidian Bridge, where haunting, ancient songs echo up from the dark waters beneath them, stirring quiet foreboding among the travelers. Balancing the prince's whimsical demands with the subtle shifts in the world around them, every mile traveled brings old questions of duty, destiny, and power back to the surface for the Kingsmen. Upon reaching Themon, the famed city of a thousand spires, the party finds the former elven capital dramatically changed, choked by strict authority, greed, and shadow. Even entering the gates proves to be an exercise in tension as corrupt guards attempt to shake down the travelers, setting a grim tone for what awaits inside the city walls. A brief respite inside a worn local tavern called the Worn Prince quickly turns sour as tense conversations with ruthless city enforcers reveal just how dangerous the streets have become. Suspicion clings to every corner, making it clear that authority in Themon is enforced with a heavy, uncompromising hand that leaves little room for error or missteps by outsiders. Following Killian's covert leads deeper into the city's hidden underbelly, the Kingsmen arrive at a well-defended haven known as the Righteous Boar. Here, away from prying eyes, they meet Yazeed and discover that a quiet rebellion is brewing against Lord AlZamala and the ruthless mercenary force currently keeping the population under an iron thumb. What began as a straightforward escort mission for a royal charge rapidly expands into a complex maze of political intrigue, hidden resistance, and ancient heritage. With the city balanced on the edge of a knife and high-stakes choices looming ahead, the Kingsmen find themselves standing at the crossroads of a conflict that could alter the future of Eleren forever. EP11: Eyes of Eleren: A D&D 5e Campaign
Eyes of Eleren - HallowedRPG D&D Campaign - Episode 11: The Necromancer's Doom Back in the safety of the capital, the Kingsmen barely have time to enjoy a proper breakfast before an old friend's urgent summons pulls them into a hidden corner of the palace library. What he's found there could change everything for those still dreaming of home, and the excitement is impossible to hide from anyone gathered around the breakfast table that particular morning, plates left half-finished in the rush. Buried in the pages of an ancient journal is the promise of a powerful tome, hidden away in a realm of endless frost and guarded by the remnants of a long-dead necromancer's forgotten work. Getting there means trusting old magic, an exhausted friend's fading strength, and a gate that may only hold open for so long before it closes for good behind them, cutting off any easy way back to the world they've come to know and love. Not everyone in the party shares the same reasons for wanting to press forward into the frozen unknown ahead of them. Old questions about home, loyalty, and what it might mean to leave behind a crown so recently claimed bubble up in quiet moments, even as the group prepares to step through a gate none of them fully understand or trust with their lives. What waits on the other side is a frozen tomb of shattered ice and shuffling horrors, where the dead do not stay buried and the cold itself seems to have a mind and a will all its own. Puzzles, levers, and iron doors slick with frost stand between the party and whatever secrets this place still guards deep within its frozen, silent halls of ancient, long-forgotten stone. The fight through this icy lair tests more than swords and spells, as the party faces down reanimated husks and something far colder, older, and more deliberate stalking the shadowed halls alongside them. Every step forward comes at a cost, and not every threat here plays by the rules of the living or dies the way the party expects it to when the blade finally connects with flesh long since frozen solid to the bone. When the tome is finally recovered, its secrets prove more astonishing than anyone expected, tying back to a distant age of gods, Titans, and forges of impossible power scattered across the realm in places long forgotten by history itself and time alike. What begins as a simple retrieval mission ends with a discovery that could reshape everything the Kingsmen thought they knew about this world, and their place in it. Back among friends and a well-earned meal, old bonds and new revelations intertwine as the party begins to piece together a legacy far larger than any of them ever anticipated, one carefully translated page at a time over dinner, with one final image leaving everyone at the table speechless and hungry for more answers. EP10: Eyes of Eleren: A D&D 5e Campaign
Eyes of Eleren - HallowedRPG D&D Campaign - Episode 10: Confronting Keshek Deep within the Dark Ziggurat, the drums have finally gone quiet, and the Kingsmen stand at the threshold of a final trial. The lizardfolk gathered here believe their prophecy hinges on what happens next, and there's no turning back once the portal is crossed and the transformation chamber pulls them in against a foe they've been warned grows stronger with every passing moment they hesitate outside its walls, waiting on the wrong side of destiny. What waits on the other side is a nightmare of acid, shadow, and something far larger than a single lizard king. Torrin and his companions are thrown into a brutal, drawn-out battle against a monstrous, two-headed foe backed by grotesque servants that refuse to stay down for long, no matter how many times they're cut apart or burned away entirely from existence in this chamber of horrors. The fight pushes every member of the party to their absolute limit, testing spells, steel, and sheer stubbornness against a creature determined to make them pay dearly for every inch of ground it loses. Blood is spilled, bones are cracked, and more than one companion finds themselves staring death in the face before it's finally over, clinging to whatever luck and healing they have left in reserve for the final, decisive blow. When the dust finally settles, the cost of victory becomes brutally clear, and the party is forced to scramble to save each other before the transformation chamber claims anyone else for good. What follows the beast's fall is even stranger than the fight itself, and leaves more questions than answers about what has actually been unleashed upon the jungle and the terrified lizardfolk left outside its crumbling walls. A hidden passage leads the battered party back to the surface, where the aftermath outside proves just as chilling as the fight below. Whatever answered that final, terrible call has already come and gone, leaving devastation and dozens of bodies behind, and a question that lingers long after the screaming finally stops. Back among allies, a quiet evening brings its own kind of tension, as an old friend's music stirs something unsettling neither of them can quite explain or fully understand, no matter how many questions get asked between them about where it truly came from. And elsewhere, a companion's path takes an unexpected turn, pulled toward a destiny that may lead him away from the group entirely and toward a world none of them have ever seen before now. As the dust settles over the jungle and the tribes reckon with what's been won and lost, the Kingsmen find themselves facing new questions about loyalty, fate, and what comes next for a kingdom still finding its footing after everything that's happened to it and to the people who now call this reluctant king their own, for better or worse.
