Hampstead & Highgate Express journalists meet some of north London's most-notable residents. We'll be speaking with stars of the screen, political heavyweights, cultural icons, charity heroes and many more about their lives, their careers and what makes life around Ham&High so special.
On the 50th anniversary of the International Wages for Housework Campaign, Frankie Lister-Fell spoke to activist, writer and campaigner Selma James.
Selma co-founded Kentish Town’s Women's Crossroads Road Centre in 1975, and it is the longest standing women's centre in London.
Selma speaks about the campaign’s success, initial resistance from feminists, and how, if at all, things have improved for women and unpaid carers across the world.
