Vorstandswahlen und WM-Fieber
Der Hamburger Presseclub nutzte die Zeit zwischen der Entscheidung über eine Olympia-Kandidatur der Stadt – der Ausgang ist bekannt – und dem Start der WM zu einem Sport-Talk mit dem bekannten Moderator Reinhold Beckmann und der Sport-PR-Managerin Katja Kraus, die einst im Vorstand des Hamburger SV tätig war. Vor dem Talk hatten die Mitglieder des Presseclubs – er ist mit weit mehr als 400 Mitgliedern der größte seiner Art in Deutschland – im Madison-Hotel am Baumwall ihren Vorstand neu gewählt.

Zwei Tage lang ist Hamburg DER Mittelpunkt für alle Online-Rockstars - weltweit. Der hamburger Presseclub war eingeladen. Am Abend davor kamen OMR-Chefredakteur Roland Eisenbrand und Sales-Manager Yannick Mixdorf ins Hotel Gastwerk, um den Mitgliedern des Hamburger Presseclubs über Sinn und Zweck der Veranstaltung zu berichten.
