Bre Augsburg is the actress behind vertical dramas and microdramas like Taming My Enemy Hockey Captain, The Rebirth of the Lycan Queen, Miss President at Your Service, and her most recent (and most brutal) villain role in Loved the Fake Daughter and Lost the Real One.
In this Breaking the Meta interview, Bre goes from a Kentucky high schooler who almost went to business school to a New York Film Academy scholarship, then dropped out to film verticals in China, where sets often have no stunt coordinators or intimacy coordinators. She explains how AI-generated content slowed productions and pushed her from leads to villain roles, why casting directors think "blondes are mean right now," the hate she got for a fake curling iron burn, the costume mistake an editor left in, breaking character during a ridiculous allergic reaction scene, and what filming intimacy scenes with 20 people watching is really like.
