In part 1 we discussed Communion and Community through the lens of St. JOHN PAUL II"s Theology of the Body as well as insights from Acts retreatants, Blane Comeaux and Phil Camel. In part 2 we deliver insights from Adele and Becki on JP II's concept of the ripple effect of community and communion. Blane and Phil are also back in this episode as they share their experiences on the concepts of brotherhood and community while helping us answer the question: Is there a positive impact in other areas of life after attending an acts retreat?

Thank you for spending some of your valuable time with us. This episode starts a 2 part series called "The Body in Community: Acts, Communion & the transformation of Men". With the month of August getting underway were are in the season when several Men's and Women's Acts retreats are getting started around the country. It's a time when so many people are preparing to step into a deeper communion with God, with their parish community and with one another. As usual, Adele and Becki will help us look at community and communion through the lens of Theology of the Body. To give an inside perspective on ACTS, which stands for Adoration, Community, Theology and Service, we've invited 2 guests, Blane Comeaux and Phil Camel. These 2 men will share how they have experienced a new found brotherhood through Acts retreats.

In this second episode of the series our team of Becki Landry and content partner Colby Allen are asking Dr. Denny-Lorio how teachers and parents can use her research to have a better conversation about sexuality with their students and children. Then in the second half of this show our very own Adele Guillot joins us to explore how Theology of the Body responds to Dr. Denny-Lorio's themes and helps us take them event deeper.
