<p>Half book review and half "maybe this is why the work works" discussion, about a year ago Jeff read Lisa Feldman Barrett's <a href="https://lisafeldmanbarrett.com/books/how-emotions-are-made/">How Emotions Are Made</a> and has been mulling it over ever since.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Credit to two others in the field for pointing us down this path.</p> <ul> <li>Science of Touch's Eddie Ulm for providing a framework of bodywork through a predictive coding lens.</li> <li>The authors of <a href="https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fpsyg.2021.767005/full">this paper</a> for linking predictive coding to osteopathy.&nbsp;</li> </ul>
