[…] Let's finally do it. So we really wanted to see, Two species, really. We wanted to see white-tailed ptarmigans up there, and then we really wanted to see rosy finches. Rosy finches, it wasn't like the paramount, like we had to see them sort of thing, but the white-tailed ptarmigan was really the real, real target for up there. So looking at the Whitetail Ptarmigan, the Paradise area tended to be the region of the park because Mount Rainier National Park is ginormous. It's a big mountain. It was the location that had the most sightings. So we targeted, let's go to the Paradise area and hike around that section. […]
