Patience

In this episode, I talked about the importance of patience and the benefits of using a workout program that helped me achieve some of my personal goals. I also discuss the downside of working out when it comes to overdoing and injuring myself. The bottom line with patience is that you must pace yourself and trust in the process as designed and you will begin seeing the benefits of a program that is designed for you. Also in this episode, I talked about making the rest of 2020 a better year.  I shared a quote from Tim Noakes, one of the greatest sports scientists, in hopes that it would be a motivator of some sorts to help end your miserable 2020 and kick start a new you in a dire time like this. I was introduced to who Tim Noakes was while in one of my classes a few years ago through a book called challenging beliefs, which is a wonderful book about physical and mental exhaustion and being able to push beyond your barriers, not just physical but also mentally.  Like always if you find this information helpful or have an ideal that you want to be heard then I am all ears and am willing to listen. Let me know!

Executive Functioning

In this episode, Matthew and I carried on a conversation about Executive Functioning Disorder (EFD). EFD is a growing issue here in the United States that has gained traction in the behavioral health world and there is a method that will help those that do struggle with it called cognitive therapy.  If you are one of those people that you know are struggling with it or know of someone who does have them take a look into EFD.  The information that is provided herein this episode does not constitute treatment. Please reach out to a professional to find out for yourself if this is something you struggle with. The purpose of this show is to provide sound information by providing references with everything that we discuss so that you can do your research and find out for yourself if it applies to you or not.  Feel free to reach out if there is more information that you are looking for. I will be happy to continue to discuss these topics. If there is anything else that you are interested in and would like more information on it please bring it up and I will do what I can to provide sound research on the matter and share what I discover.
