About Hanson Oak's - The Recalling (An Immersive Horror Podcast)

The Recalling is a patchwork of untrustworthy memories. The story of my life is not linear. Instead, it comes to me in a series of horrific flashes and cherished moments and if I'm to tell my story honestly, I will have to share both. The stories feature creatures that may be recognizable but most you've never seen or heard of. The tales unravel in places that may seem familiar and locations that can be found on no map and suffer no names. Some memories will be disturbing, others may be wondrous, yet all will be dark as light is not a place I've spent much time in. Before we begin, I must ask you to be careful. My memories may become your nightmares and my experiences may prove your cautionary tales - but that will only serve to bring us closer together as parts of this podcast are quite interactive. S. 1 Ep. 14 Christmas Mourning (A Horror Podcast) Holiday Special Event

Send us a textThe podcast has come full circle. Almost a year ago, I began it by telling a story called "Coffins for Christmas" that has since become the most popular and shared episode of the season. That, along with all those that followed, have been downloaded thousands of times in over a dozen countries. To say I'm surprised at this success would be an understatement as the moment I put that holiday episode out into the world, I thought, "Who will want to hear the tales of my strange...

   S. 1 EP. 13 It Came From a Corpse (A Horror Podcast)

Send us a textOne thing ends and another begins – but this is the space in between.During the intermission between seasons I've been focused on answering listener requests in the form of bite sized episodes - though I couldn't help but stretch some even further. In this full length (and then some) tale, I recall my one and only encounter with a strange creature called a Rivinia. It is a story I barely lived to tell. In all my travels and all my books, this creature has been a rumor. I've...

Listener Episode 9: Cheeky Bones (A Horror Podcast)

Send us a textOne thing ends and another begins – but this is the space in between. Before the new season of The Recalling begins, these bite sized episodes will live in the void, but they are much more. They are an index of creatures that surround us, monsters with no names, angels with no wings, the folklore that folklore forgot. Each short episode will introduce you to the things under your bed and in your closet. What makes them even more special is that they feature the podcast...
