Hey there! We are Kenn and Jess, the creators of the Happy Inappropriate Parents podcast! Just a couple of moms trying to live their true authentic lives on top of juggling momhood. Sharing our different perspectives on life as a young stay at home mom of twins, and a "slightly" older mom of a teenager. Come hang out and laugh at life with as we dive into different creative outlets, explore new parts of ourselves, and open up about some of the hardships that we have encountered so far as moms.

Ep. 2 How We Maintain Our Identities As Parents
On this weeks episode we do a deep dive on what helps us stay true to ourselves. Whether it be a craft, hobby, religion or something else, us parents have to stay grounded to our true identities otherwise we get too wrapped up in the parent life. We hope this glimpse of our personal lives helps you discover or rekindle something in yourself. Take a break and enjoy yourself from time to time! Listen to us dive into our experiences with pregnancy and labor and delivery! !!!!TRIGGER WARNING!!!! for NICU talk and bloody/traumatic delivery..... On that note, we hope that you can laugh with us through the pain of our traumatic voyages into MOTHERHOOD. We both have not so perfect stories to share, in hopes to relate to other moms/parents that might have similar stories. In the end we are all happy to be raising our beautiful healthy babes, their arrival might not have gone as planned, but we couldn't be happier with the results.
