Online lezing: Van je voedselallergie af komen met orale immunotherapie
<p>In Nederland zit gemiddeld in elke basisschoolklas minimaal één kind met een voedselallergie. Op dit moment is er geen behandeling en heeft een groot deel van deze kinderen levenslang een allergie. Voor deze kinderen is het dus superbelangrijk om te kijken of hun allergie kunnen genezen zodat zij zich geen zorgen meer hoeven te maken over wat ze wel en niet mogen eten. Daarom zijn wij in het Deventer Ziekenhuis onderzoek gaan doen en kijken wij of orale immunotherapie een behandeling kan zijn voor jonge kinderen. Orale immunotherapie betekent dat kinderen een jaar lang dagelijks een klein beetje gaan eten van het product waar ze allergisch voor zijn.
