HWE E9: Corporate Civil Wars
The world around us, for the past 2 years, has been volatile and constantly changing.
Changes in statuses of health, livelihoods, relationships, career, income, government policies & mandates, and more have contributed to the creation of seemingly a lot of fear, divide and uncertainty within many of us and the world around us.
These are all factors that affect our mental and emotional health, therefore affect our physical health in the long term or short term, sometimes.
We thought to discuss this observation in this podcast to encourage corporations to have facilitated group discussions, and give platforms for their people to express their fears, be heard and understood.. This is a way to help bring people together, and find solutions together for both personal wellbeing and organizational sustainability.

HWE E8: One Shoe Doesn't Fit All
Imagine a group of people with different heights wanting to see over a high fence.
Equality would be giving them all the same stool height to stand on.
Equity would be giving each one of them a stool proportionate to their heights, so that they all can see "Equally".
We wish this simple example can help you see how both Equity & Equality empower each other, and are both necessary for finding and implementing solutions in our daily life.
Tune in to find out how Equity & Equality can be implemented at the work place for a happier work environment.

HWE E4: Pointing Fingers & Getting Eaten
Why do we blame others instead of taking ownership?
Because fear plays a big part, and it's easier to blame others.
Blame culture festers in many organisations, without anyone aware of it. Blaming is one of the ways to justify undesirable behaviours that harm people in the workplace. When things go seriously wrong in a large company, it's easy to find a "scapegoat." to save face.
Blaming does not help everybody and does not help the situation. Individuals or teams can overcome the blame culture by simply taking ownership and being responsible for their actions. By changing the vocabulary and not use terms like: "it's my fault", and say, "I take responsibility for the mistake in this project", and then provide relevant information without pointing the finger at someone.
You can create a happy work environment by taking ownership and responsibility for your actions. Fix it by confessing and apologising, asking for appropriate support, move forward. The outcome: learn from mistakes, aim to achieve high, and the organisation wins.
Leaders should aim to bring out the best in their workforce, and not put blame on them. Their team's performance is their responsibility.
Remember to be compassionate.

HWE E3: Underpromise and Overdeliver
When we manage our time poorly, it creates a ripple effect of problems that affect us on a personal level and on an organizational level.
Discover with us, as we discuss:

We will also talk about the steps below to help you manage your time better:

HWE E2: Saying No to Your Boss
Why is time affluence so important?
How can we change our vocabulary around it?
What are the benefits of dedicating personal time for yourself daily?
Time affluence means to be conscious around how you allocate and prioritize your time. The more you are aware of your time, the more you can prioritize yourself and your professional and personal tasks within your own given timeline.
Just by changing our language around time we can start becoming more aware of the value of our time, more productive in achieving our priorities, and better communicators.
Two examples of changed vocabulary are “I am busy” to “I’m being productive” Or “I don’t have time” to “I can do this job at this time.”
The benefits of dedicating time for yourself are priceless. You get to rejuvenate physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Your health improves holistically, professional and personal relationships blossom. You appreciate and admire the natural beauty that surrounds you, which is within others and the creation.
Stay tuned, and stay connected :)

HWE E1: Getting off the Hamster Wheel
What is your mindset around TIME?
We often hear and use words like – I’m busy, I have no time.", "I did not get time to take a lunch break or eat or go to the bathroom." “I am firefighting”, “I feel drained", and the list goes on. These expressions express a "Time Famine Mindset", which means we feel we don’t have enough time and are constantly in a rush. Join us in our discussion about "Time Abundance vs. Time Famine Mindsets" in our first part on " Time Affluence", and how our mindset around time can help us become more organized and productive at work and in your personal life. You just one person :) "Time was there before you were born; time will be there after you’ve gone." - David Andrew
