Hark and Ramble is about connecting, sharing and learning from each other. It’s my belief that life’s best teachers are all around us. So lets stop for a moment and learn together. Thanks for listening!
In this episode I sat down with friend and fellow social worker/therapist-Tommy Waltz - (He/Him/His) Tommy is a man of many hats. Psychotherapist, actor, TEDx speaker, activist, trauma survivor, writer, leader, all-around entertainer and Cher enthusiast. Tommy lives in Portland Maine where he runs his private psychotherapy practice, is a Team Leader at Art of Awareness Wellness Center and a local theatre and commercial actor. Thank you for joining us on Hark and Ramble Tommy!

“ You can’t be an asshole” (Jason)
In this episode I sit down with Jason, a good friend from college. Jason works as a health professional in the world of Anesthesia as a CRNA. What I love about Jason is he tells it like it is, and gives us a rare peek into the life of the person responsible for putting us to sleep and keeping us safe during surgery (among other things). It was great to catch up with Jason, learn from him and share some laughs. Thank you for sharing, taking the time and joining us on Hark and Ramble Jason!

The real check in🖤
Hey folks. Somehow my recordings got posted incorrectly and two of the same episode got posted instead. My apologies for that. This is too important not to weigh in on and this was supposed to be posted weeks ago. Black. Lives. Matter.

“See it flourish” (Mazeratie)
Mazeratie and I grew up in NJ together. It has been many years since we last saw each other but I knew I wanted to connect. Mazeratie embodies creativity and that absolutely shines through on her social media. In this episode we discuss the challenges of keeping a small business afloat during COVID, her passion for urban gardening, and her choice of a vegan lifestyle three years ago. Mazeratie is a beautiful person inside and out and her passion for tasty, nutritious food, travel and clean beauty is inspiring. I loved having the opportunity to catch up with her after all these years. ***Please note that this episode is a bit longer but we had a lot to talk about after all this time. We also attempted contact a few times before we got it to work. There also appears to be some audio issues at the end of the episode but such is life-Hah. Thanks for tuning in and thanks to Mazie for showing up and being real!

“Work backwards” (Erin)
Erin Clark is an adventurous soul and a published author. Before the age of thirty she has traveled the globe and has been working towards creating the life she wants through setting goals that are driven by what she values most. Her dream is to continue to write and one day get paid to travel. I loved sitting down for this conversation and connecting with this friend and driven human! Thank you for sharing and showing up Erin! ** This episode was recorded at the end of March**

Post show ramble after speaking to my guest and older brother Jesse.

“Respond to the environment around you.” (Jesse)
This episode was actually recorded at the end of February. I sat down with my older brother Jesse, an independent photographer who has worked for the likes of NPR, ESPN, the Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times. We go from the silly - sharing stories about our dogs, to the serious - his take on being a member of the media and parts of his journey in the photojournalism world.

Hey my people- let’s talk about mental health! Today's episode of Hark and Ramble is all about debunking myths about therapy. I sit down with fellow LCSW / Therapist, former classmate and private practice partner Karina Chandler. I'm excited to put this conversation out there and plan on it being the start of more conversations to come on wellness. Let's normalize seeking support for our mental health! Thanks for tuning in!

Ramble # 2.5
My second post show ramble reflecting on the episode with Dan and offering tid-bits and take-aways. Thanks for giving my ramble a listen!

“Rythmic Variations” (Dan)
Today's episode allowed me the opportunity to sit down with the talented and creative Dan Kassel! Dan uses his cello to create a one man symphony that is intuitive and spiritually based music using live looping. His music is “emotionally provocative” and contextually unique. Dan and I grew up together and it was such a pleasure to chat with him for this episode! Dan, I’m proud to call you a friend - thank you for sharing some of your journey with us here at Hark and Ramble. Cheers! (Note: There’s some unedited dead air in the middle of the episode because well, life happens and that’s real!)

“Gifted with intentional time” (Marty)
This is the very first episode of Hark and Ramble! Today I sit down with a long-time friend Marty who just so happens to be a hospice nurse. Surprisingly, or maybe not surprising to those who know me/us there's quite a bit of laughter in this conversation. More importantly, I hope that this is a window into a topic that can be a challenge for a lot of us to talk about. My goal is that by listening to this show we will all gain some helpful information. Cheers and love to all, Brett
