"Belarus in Focus: Solidarity, Sisterhood and the Problem of the "Post-Soviet" was organized by HARMAA on 5.10.2022. Dr. Kristiina Silvan is a researcher at FIIA. Her talk zooms into the many meanings attached to the concept of "post-Soviet" and its development during the last decades. Dr. Olga Shparaga is a Belarusian philosopher, activist, and writer. Her talk discusses the central role played by thousands of women in the 2020 protests against the authoritarian regime of Lukashenko.
