Maaike Donker weet het al van kinds af aan: als ik later groot ben wil ik verpleegkundige worden. Inmiddels is ze 26 en werkt ze in de thuiszorg. Dat vindt ze veel uitdagender dan een baan in het ziekenhuis. Ze werkt in een klein zelfstandig team bij Buurtzorg in Zaltbommel en komt bij veel verschillende mensen thuis, van jong tot oud. "Mensen helpen vind ik super, dat je dan ziet dat iemand er wat aan heeft en je uitzwaait."
