Life Review
Reviewing one's life leads to a harvest of life that leads to serving others

March 18, 2025
Harvesting is an act of eldership
To explain what harvesting means one can review the role of elder. An elder embraces their long life experience even though it may not have been perfect. An elder is any older person who senses that they have a role to play in the second half of life. They don't retire at age 60, they take action on behalf of others. Harvesting their long life can be the first step in embracing elderhood.

Introduction
In this first episode of Harvesting Long Life I introduce my weekly podcast. The message in this series of discussions is that people who have lived a long life may be able to offer support to the young by reviewing their life experience and taking action because of it. In this way we celebrate our life when we might otherwise have assumed we don't have wisdom to share.
