BLACKWELL MISSOURI - Haunted Garage - Epsiode 23

Blackwell, Missouri, is a small, unincorporated town in Washington County, and it's gained some notoriety among paranormal enthusiasts due to its reportedly haunted locations and eerie atmosphere. Here's a general synopsis of the haunted history of Blackwell: **The Legend of Blackwell**Blackwell is most famous for being associated with several supernatural legends, most notably connected to its abandoned train tracks and bridge. According to local lore, a phantom train is said to run through the area late at night, especially near Blackwell Road, and some have claimed to hear the sound of a train or see ghostly apparitions along the tracks. Another well-known story is about a **haunted bridge** in Blackwell, where visitors have reported strange occurrences, such as glowing lights, shadowy figures, and even ghostly voices. There are also tales of cars being mysteriously "pushed" uphill on the bridge, similar to other "gravity hill" phenomena in different haunted locations. **The Blackwell Cemetery**Another hotspot for paranormal activity is **Blackwell Cemetery**, which is said to be haunted by various spirits, including that of a little girl. Visitors have reported seeing ghostly figures, hearing disembodied voices, and experiencing cold spots. Some have claimed to see apparitions wandering the cemetery at night or felt an eerie presence following them. **The Blackwell Train Station**An old train station, now abandoned, adds to the area's creepy vibe. Stories of mysterious lights and shadowy figures moving around the building circulate, as well as claims of hearing voices and footsteps in the night. **Unsettling Experiences**Many who visit Blackwell claim to feel an overwhelming sense of unease or dread while walking around, particularly near the cemetery and train tracks. Paranormal investigators have reportedly picked up EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) recordings, strange electromagnetic readings, and temperature fluctuations in the area, leading some to believe the location is a true hotspot for ghostly encounters. **The Verdict**Though the town is small and off the beaten path, Blackwell’s reputation as a haunted locale continues to attract thrill-seekers, paranormal investigators, and those looking for a scare. Whether or not the ghostly legends are true, Blackwell remains one of Missouri’s spookier spots for urban legends and ghost stories.

Missouri State Penitentiary - Haunted Garage - Episode 21

The Missouri State Penitentiary, operational from 1836 to 2004, is notorious for its dark history and reported hauntings. Located in Jefferson City, this once-infamous prison housed some of the most dangerous criminals and witnessed numerous executions, violent incidents, and tragic deaths. Visitors and paranormal enthusiasts frequently report ghostly encounters, including the sounds of disembodied voices, unexplained footsteps, and eerie whispers echoing through the empty halls. Many believe the spirits of former inmates linger, unable to find peace after their traumatic experiences. The most famous ghostly sightings include that of a former inmate known as “The Hangman,” who is said to roam the execution chamber, and the specters of inmates in their old cells. Guided ghost tours of the penitentiary have become popular, drawing those curious about its haunted reputation. The combination of its brutal past and the countless stories of spectral encounters has established the Missouri State Penitentiary as a significant site in the realm of American ghost lore, captivating both historians and thrill-seekers alike.
