Haunted Holyoke Episode 11

And that’s the end of Season One of Haunted Holyoke.

Before we go, we want to take a moment to thank the people who made this story possible.

To the teens who created these characters, made these choices, and built this world together, thank you. Out of an abundance of caution, and by agreement, we’ve kept your names off the credits. But this story belongs to you. Your voices, your ideas, your risks, your humor, your honesty. We’re grateful for the care you brought to this project, and for the trust you built with each other along the way.

We also want to clear up a small mystery of our own. If you’ve been listening closely, you may have heard us reference Monster of the Week in earlier episodes. That’s because we started there. Somewhere out there, there is a lost first session where we played Monster of the Week before finding our way to Kids on Bikes. Maybe it’s gone for good. Maybe it’s just… misplaced. Either way, what you’ve heard here is the story that followed.

Haunted Holyoke uses the Kids on Bikes roleplaying system by Hunters Entertainment. This podcast is an independent, non-commercial project. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the creators or publishers of Kids on Bikes.

This project was created through Valley Playwright Mentors, a program of Piti Theatre Company, and produced at Holyoke Media, with support from Mass Humanities, the Massachusetts Cultural Council, the Scarlet Socks Foundation, and other public and private funders.

Thank you for listening. Thank you for spending time in this version of Holyoke with us.

We’ll see you next season.
