Hauntings and Hobnobs

About Hauntings and Hobnobs

Welcome to Hauntings and Hobnobs, the podcast where the tea is hot, the stories are chilling, and something may or may not be lurking in the corner of the room. Katie Trinder is a broadcaster, storyteller, and lifelong collector of curious tales and Barrie John is a medium who has spent years listening to what lies beyond the everyday. Together, we’ll be venturing into haunted locations across the UK, unearthing ghost stories, exploring paranormal investigations, and poking about in places most sensible people would leave well alone. From creaking castles and eerie old inns to forgotten hallways, shadowy corners, and buildings with more than a few stories to tell, we’ll be diving headfirst into the strange, the spooky, and the spectacularly unexplained. Expect spine-tingles, spirited debate, uncanny encounters, and the occasional moment of “absolutely not, we’re leaving.” Because the paranormal isn’t always doom and gloom — sometimes it’s odd, fascinating, and just a little bit cheeky. So whether you’re a die-hard believer, a healthy sceptic, or simply someone who enjoys a good ghost story with their biscuits, join us for Hauntings and Hobnobs. Because in this podcast, the company is good, the stories are wicked, and you never quite know who, or should we say what might drop in. Hosted on Acast. Episode 1 - Nottingham Castle

In the very first episode of Hauntings and Hobnobs, Katie Trinder and Barrie John head to one of the UK’s most legendary locations: Nottingham Castle.
