After spending almost four decades together, brothers Andrew and Brian Lloyd decided to do what all men rapidly approaching middle age do - they started a podcast to complain about things that have annoyed, irked, and mildly angered them for the past four decades.

For this episode, we're doling out relationship advice. Yes, in a bid for some kind of relevancy in a vastly overpopulated pool of podcasting clichés, we've scoured the depths of Reddit's r/relationshipadvice and plundered it for cheap and easy content. In a delightful twist, however, Andrew managed to bring along his keyboard and set these tales of lovelorn agony into some gentle music. Got feedback? Got a problem? We're now on Instagram at @heaintheavypod and if you can't reach us there, you can always keep it to yourself. Nobody cares, pal. The universe is indifferent.

Underground Factions
In the first episode of 2024, Brian and Andrew reunite following the Christmas period to discuss show notes from their mother, the eventual replacement of all manual labour by artificial intelligence and automation, who was the best opponent faced by Rocky Balboa, and whether or not Brian and Andrew could survive in the woods ala Christopher Moltisanti and Paulie 'Walnuts' Gaultieri from the hit crime TV series, The Sopranos.

Not A Christmas Special
Should it surprise anyone that we're NOT doing a Christmas Special? Of course it shouldn't. For this episode, Brian and Andrew attempt to quiz one another on '90s TV show themes, discuss how Gary Oldman hasn't got an Oscar and that the Oscars are largely bullsh*t, the nature of videogames in middle-age, and further opportunities for Brian and Andrew to make complete fools of themselves with microphones. Enjoy and happy Christmas!

Spaceshippy
On this week's episode, Brian and Andrew discuss TLC's 'Sister Wives', religion generally, realising our parents were misrepresenting themselves as slalom skiers and motorcross riders, the nature of PDAs, the actor Jason Clarke, and why Andrew doesn't like sci-fi.

A Forceful Tug
On this week's show, things get semi-serious. Andrew and Brian talk about the nature of creativity and age, the reality of being married against the unlikelihood of its success, and whether Andrew actually wants to keep doing this and if Brian is just forcing the whole thing in on in some desperate attempt at relevancy. Cheery stuff!

"A cigar, a pair of socks, and sunglasses..."
After an absence caused by the perils of late-stage capitalism and wage slavery, brothers Brian and Andrew Lloyd triumphantly return for another podcast episode dedicated to utter inanity and bereft of any substantive, transformative topics. The discussion journeys from the difference between dry and wet urine smells, the possible fatherhood of Justin Trudeau, and that time Andrew saw Shay Given in Dublin Airport. Hey, you're the one listening to this stuff. We're just the ones uploading it.

"The shores of controversy..."
In the premiere episode of 'He Ain't Heavy...', Andrew and Brian convene to discuss pressing topics of the day, such as whether or not social media is all bulls**t, why neither of them has gone to therapy yet (when they clearly should), and Buddhist monks on TikTok who may or may not be former criminals. Yes, we're aware of the bad sound. Somebody only brought one mic to the recording.
