This was not merely a command to change locations.It was a command to change allegiance.God's people were not meant to place their trust in Babylon's kingdom.They were called to trust God's Kingdom.The same call remains today.Every wall eventually falls.Every empire eventually crumbles.Every earthly kingdom has an expiration date.Only the Kingdom of Jesus Christ will stand forever.
