What Happens When You Accept What Is

In this deeply personal and reflective episode of Heal with Kimile, host Kimile Pendleton revisits the core story that shaped her life's work and led her from a place of profound pain to her purpose as a healer. After being interviewed about her "why," Kimile shares a raw account of the two-year period in her youth when she believed a devastating lie about herself—that she had killed a man in a farm accident. She recounts the isolating guilt, the series of traumatic events that followed, and the spiritual seeking that consumed her, all while carrying a secret she felt she couldn't share. With moving honesty, Kimile describes the moment the truth finally set her free and how that liberation planted the seed for her mission: to be the compassionate guide she never had. She connects this foundational experience to her philosophy of healing—that our deepest growth often springs from our greatest pain, and that speaking the truth, both to ourselves and to a trusted listener, is the first step out of suffering. As she looks ahead to a new chapter with a refreshed perspective and space for deeper work, Kimile invites listeners to examine their own stories, to question the lies they may be living, and to consider how their own pain might point the way to their purpose. This episode is a powerful reminder that we are not defined by what happens to us, but by the meaning we make of it—and that sometimes, helping others heal is the ultimate way to heal ourselves. The Lies We Believe: How to Spot Deception in Others—and in Ourselves

In this powerful and deeply personal episode of Heal with Kimile, host Kimile Pendleton confronts the painful reality of dishonesty—both in our relationships and within ourselves. As the year ends, many are navigating turbulent times with partners, friends, or family members who aren't telling the truth. Kimile breaks down the subtle, science-backed signs of deception: shifts in body language, changes in breathing, evasive eye contact, and the defensive over-explaining that often reveals more than it hides. She also shares a moving story from her own past—a two-year period where she believed a devastating lie about herself—to illustrate how living out of alignment with truth can trap us in cycles of guilt, anxiety, and self-punishment. Kimile explores why people cling to false narratives, how to compassionately confront deception in others, and, most importantly, how to recognize the lies we tell ourselves that keep us from living freely and fully. This episode is a call to courage: to seek truth, to trust your intuition, and to rebuild your life on the foundation of what’s real. If you’ve ever felt unsure in a relationship or trapped by a story you’ve believed about yourself, this conversation will guide you back to clarity, confidence, and peace. The truth doesn't just inform you—it frees you. Tune in and learn how to listen for it. The Silent Signals: Decoding Your Child's Changing Behavior

In this important and insightful episode of Heal with Kimile, host Kimile Pendleton offers parents and caregivers an essential guide to understanding the subtle shifts in their child's world. A sudden drop in grades, a loss of interest in sports, a change in friends, or an unexplained shift in mood—these are often the first clues that something deeper is happening in your child's life. Kimile explores how to approach these changes with curiosity instead of alarm, creating an environment where your child feels safe to share their struggles. She discusses practical steps for identifying healthy versus harmful influences, opening lines of compassionate communication, and guiding your child through social pressures, academic stress, or emotional challenges without taking over their journey. This episode is a reminder that parenting isn't about having all the answers, but about paying loving attention to the questions your child may not know how to ask. Tune in to learn how to be the steady anchor your child needs as they navigate the changing tides of growing up.
