Ep #41: Finding Connection in a Disconnected World with Isabella Plutino
In this episode we interview Isabella Plutino from the Plenty Co op, on how connection has shaped her life and the lessons she had to go through to learn what healthy connection with community looks like and how it is shaped by society.
We discuss how Bella spent years thinking connection meant finding the right person. It wasn’t. How trying to be saved by love, a friend group, or “the one" is not it. What actually changed everything for bella was :
• learning how to connect with herself and her needs first.
• stop calling neediness “love.”
• start asking, “What does she need—and can she give that to herself?”
That shift changed every relationship, every friendship, and the way she shows up for her community. Because when you can hold yourself, you stop handing your peace to people who haven’t learned how to hold themselves. And that’s when connection gets real.
From here bella started a movement, plenty co-op where people can come together to share their offerings and gifts and support community instead of going to big business and spending hugely for it. Join the movement below.
