S2 EP13 — Forgiveness in Singleness: Why You Should Master Forgiveness While Single

What happens when you carry unforgiveness from one season of your life into the next? In this episode of Healing and Evolving with Christ, we're talking about forgiveness in singleness and why learning how to forgive is one of the most important things you can develop as a follower of Christ. Forgiveness isn't something you only need in marriage. You need it in friendships, family relationships, church, work, dating, and everyday life. Wherever there are people, there will be opportunities to forgive. Jesus teaches us to forgive, yet forgiveness can become especially difficult when the hurt is deep, the person never apologizes, or you feel as though what happened was simply unfair. In this episode, we talk about what biblical forgiveness actually looks like, why holding onto unforgiveness can affect you, and how to begin releasing offenses even when your emotions haven't caught up with your decision. We also explore an important truth: forgiveness does not always mean reconciliation. You can forgive someone while still having wisdom, boundaries, and discernment about the role that person should have in your life. Your season of singleness gives you an opportunity to examine how you respond to hurt, disappointment, rejection, betrayal, and conflict before entering marriage. Because marriage will require forgiveness too. Learning to communicate, extend grace, release offenses, take accountability, and forgive according to the Word of God are skills that can be developed now—not someday when you meet your spouse. But ultimately, forgiveness is bigger than marriage preparation. We forgive because Christ calls us to forgive. If you've been holding onto an offense, struggling to forgive someone who hurt you, or wondering how you can forgive without allowing someone to hurt you again, this episode is for you. 🤍 🌿 You can forgive and still have boundaries. 🌿 You can forgive without pretending the hurt never happened. 🌿 You can forgive even when an apology never comes. 🌿 And you can invite the Holy Spirit into the process of healing your heart. 🎙️ HEALING AND EVOLVING WITH CHRIST Watch more conversations on Christian singleness, healing, forgiveness, relationships, identity, purpose, and spiritual growth: https://www.youtube.com/@HealingandEvolvingWithChrist (https://www.youtube.com/@HealingandEvolvingWithChrist) 📖 DEVOTIONAL 30 Days of Healing with the Holy Spirit by Khanya Reid https://a.co/d/32t2e1q (https://a.co/d/32t2e1q) 💭 REFLECTION QUESTION Is there anyone you are still holding an offense against that God may be asking you to forgive? #HealingandEvolvingWithChrist #Forgiveness #BiblicalForgiveness #ForgivenessInSingleness #ChristianSingleness #ChristianSingles #SingleChristian #SeasonOfSingleness #HealingInChrist #ChristianRelationships #ChristianPodcast #LetGoAndLetGod #HealingJourney #SpiritualGrowth #ChristianEncouragement

S2 EP11 How to Find Out Your Purpose as a Single Christian

Have you ever asked God, “What am I actually here to do?” During the season of singleness, it can be easy to become so focused on marriage, relationships, and what comes next that you overlook an important question: What is God calling me to do with my life right now? In this episode of Healing and Evolving with Christ, we talk about how to begin discovering your God-given purpose as a single Christian. Purpose isn't something that suddenly begins when you get married. God has given you gifts, experiences, passions, abilities, and opportunities that He can use for His glory in the season you're currently in. But discovering your purpose doesn't always mean receiving one dramatic revelation from God. Sometimes, it begins by drawing closer to Him, paying attention to what He has already placed within you, recognizing the needs around you, and becoming faithful with what is already in your hands. In this episode, we explore how to seek God for direction, recognize your gifts and strengths, identify the things God may be drawing your heart toward, and take practical steps when you don't have the entire picture yet. We also talk about the danger of comparison. Your purpose may not look like someone else's calling—and it doesn't need to. God created you intentionally, and your journey with Him is personal. Your season of singleness is not simply a waiting period before marriage. There is purpose for you right now. You can serve now. You can grow now. You can develop your gifts now. You can obey God now. You can make an impact now. 🌿 You don't need to know everything God will do with your life before you begin. Sometimes discovering your purpose starts with being faithful to the next thing God is asking you to do. ✨ If you've been feeling lost, unsure of your calling, or wondering what you're supposed to be doing during your season of singleness, this episode is for you. 🎙️ HEALING AND EVOLVING WITH CHRIST Watch more conversations on Christian singleness, healing, purpose, faith, identity, and spiritual growth: https://www.youtube.com/@HealingandEvolvingWithChrist (https://www.youtube.com/@HealingandEvolvingWithChrist) 📖 DEVOTIONAL 30 Days of Healing with the Holy Spirit by Khanya Reid https://a.co/d/32t2e1q (https://a.co/d/32t2e1q) 💭 REFLECTION QUESTION What gifts, passions, opportunities, or assignments has God already placed in your life that you may have been overlooking? #HealingandEvolvingWithChrist #ChristianPurpose #GodGivenPurpose #ChristianSingleness #ChristianSingles #SingleChristian #FindingYourPurpose #PurposeInChrist #GodsCalling #WalkingInPurpose #SeasonOfSingleness #IdentityInChrist #ChristianPodcast #SpiritualGrowth #ChristianEncouragement

S2 EP10 Healing before Marriage: Becoming whole in Christ | Special Guest: Vijay Steadman

Can marriage heal the wounds we haven't allowed God to address? In this special guest episode of Healing and Evolving with Christ, we sit down with Vijay Steadman for a Christ-centered conversation about healing before marriage and becoming whole in Christ during your season of singleness. Vijay is the founder of The Prophetic Movement, a visionary, and a fervent man of God. He also leads Kingdom Marriage Ministries, a WhatsApp community focused on godly relationships and marriage. Sometimes we can believe that meeting the right person will heal loneliness, insecurity, rejection, past relationship wounds, or other broken places within us. But marriage was never designed to replace the healing and wholeness we find in Christ. In this conversation, we discuss allowing God to address unresolved wounds, developing a healthy identity in Christ, and using singleness as a season of healing, growth, and preparation. You don't have to wait until marriage to become whole. God can heal you, develop you, and transform the areas of your heart that need His attention now. ✨ Your singleness can be a season of healing, preparation, maturity, and becoming whole in Christ. 🎙️ HEALING AND EVOLVING WITH CHRIST https://www.youtube.com/@HealingandEvolvingWithChrist (https://www.youtube.com/@HealingandEvolvingWithChrist) 🌿 CONNECT WITH VIJAY STEADMAN Founder — The Prophetic Movement Leader — Kingdom Marriage Ministries 📘 Facebook https://www.facebook.com/vijay.steadman/ (https://www.facebook.com/vijay.steadman/) ▶️ YouTube — The Prophetic Movement https://youtube.com/@thepropheticmovement8857 (https://youtube.com/@thepropheticmovement8857) 🎵 TikTok https://tiktok.com/@vijay_chosen20 (https://tiktok.com/@vijay_chosen20) 📸 Instagram — Kingdom Marriage Ministries https://www.instagram.com/kingdom_marriage_/ (https://www.instagram.com/kingdom_marriage_/) 📸 Instagram — Vijay Steadman https://www.instagram.com/steadmanvijay_m.o.g/ (https://www.instagram.com/steadmanvijay_m.o.g/) 📖 DEVOTIONAL 30 Days of Healing with the Holy Spirit by Khanya Reid https://a.co/d/32t2e1q (https://a.co/d/32t2e1q) 💭 REFLECTION QUESTION Are there areas of your heart you're expecting marriage to fix instead of allowing God to heal them now? 🎵 MUSIC CREDIT Music licensed through Soundstripe.
