SATS- Neville Goddard's Manifesting Technique
What if the moments just before sleep are the most powerful moments of your day?In this episode of the Uncanny Dally Series of the Healing for Hot Messes Podcast, we take a deep dive into Neville Goddard's SATS (State Akin to Sleep), one of the most discussed manifestation techniques in modern metaphysical thought. But rather than treating SATS as simple manifestation advice, we explore it through the lenses of depth psychology, the unconscious mind, and chaos magic. Why does this liminal state seem so potent? What happens to consciousness as we move between waking and sleeping? And why have mystics, magicians, inventors, and visionaries all pointed to this threshold state as a source of extraordinary creativity and transformation? We also explore the famous creative practices of Salvadore Dali and Thomas Edison, both of whom intentionally worked with the hypnagogic state, the twilight zone between wakefulness and sleep, to generate insights, inventions, and breakthrough ideas. In this conversation, we discuss:🌀 What SATS (State Akin to Sleep) actually is🌀 Neville Goddard's approach to imagination and manifestation🌀 The psychology of the subconscious mind🌀 The hypnagogic state and creative consciousness🌀 Depth psychology and symbolic imagination🌀 Chaos magic and altered states of awareness🌀 How Dali and Edison used pre-sleep states for innovation🌀 Practical ways to use SATS for creativity, insight, and personal transformationWhether you're interested in manifestation, psychology, esotericism, creativity, consciousness, or personal development, this episode offers a deeper perspective on one of the most fascinating states of the human mind. What has your experience with SATS been?
