Healing Soul...with J is a podcast meant for self-reflection. I am a 27 year old black woman from Chicago, full of stories and room for growth. Tune in on Wednesdays to hear about how life experiences show us that there are so many lessons to be learned and so much space for healing. I will be discussing some sensitive topics that can apply to everyone and how can you take the necessary steps to heal. Follow me on Instagram @HealingSoulwithJ
In this episode, I am making the proposal to expand my understanding of how men heal. As a woman, I can't speak for men, but I know that we all need the same love and support in our healing journey. This is a call to understand what men do when there is so much pressure on them to be strong. Who is in your corner? And what tools do you use to be the best version of yourself?

Finally Healing The Way I Need To
In this episode, I discuss the importance of finding your way. When times get rough, we detach, we isolate, and we tend to internalize how others feel about what we are doing. It is okay to take the space you need and indulge in how it makes you feel. You have to heal yourself before you can do it for anyone else.

It's Time to Show Up
In this episode, I discuss the need to show up for ourselves, even if others don't. Although this is a hard thing to do at times, it is important to learn how to navigate through our struggles without being overly dependent on others. Showing up for yourself could lead to isolation, or learning to take the time you need for yourself. Remember, this is a vital step to healing and continuing the process of self-growth.
