<p>Mia Morris has been dancing for just about as long as they can remember, exploring how every body can move to a beat or use movement to explore the world around oneself… or even within oneself. Joining an incredibly open and supportive dance company at a young age empowered Mia when it came to engaging with this expressive art form, and dance revealed itself as an essential part of who they are. Unfortunately, as many others have also experienced, Mia later discovered that other dancers or dance companies did not feel the same way.
